Common misunderstanding of aluminum alloy profile processing

    1) fast forward and working

    In machining programs, G00 and G01 can define straight motion of tool, but their functions are quite different. Beginners are easily confused.

    The feed speed of the class instruction (G01, G02, G03, etc.) is determined by the F instruction in the program; the feed speed of the fast forward class instruction (G00 and partial return instructions) is not specified in the processing program, but is stored in the CNC system as the machine parameter when the machine parameters are set.

    The class instruction not only ensures the accuracy of the machining end, but also ensures the accuracy of the processing path and feed speed, which depends on the micro interpolation and dynamic control.

    The purpose of fast forward instruction is to minimize the idle travel time. When multi axis linkage is applied, the trajectory is unpredictable. Therefore, fast forward instruction can not be used for machining feed.

    2) positioning accuracy and repeated positioning accuracy

    Manufacturing center manufacturers often give only repeatable positioning accuracy but not positioning precision in propaganda materials, which makes it easy for some users to misunderstand the accuracy of repetitive positioning as the main index to determine the machining accuracy of parts. In fact, the high accuracy of repetitive positioning does not mean that the machining accuracy of parts is high. Positioning accuracy is the main index to decide the machining accuracy of parts.

    Repeatability of positioning accuracy reflects the ability of machine tools to return to the same location multiple times. The measuring method is fixed with a dial indicator, gauge pressure on the spindle, zero calibration of dial indicator. The spindle moved to any position to make it return to the calibration coordinates just read error, dial indicator. After repeated round-trip readings, the biggest error is repeated positioning accuracy.

    According to the present numerical control technology level and the typical mechanical and electrical matching of the machining center, the repetitive positioning error of the servo motor + rotary encoder + ball screw or gear rack is generally not more than 2 pulse equivalent, far less than 0.01mm.

    The positioning accuracy refers to the ability to accurately move the specified distance on the whole journey of machine tools. The maximum travel time of the aluminum profile machining center can reach 7 meters, and the laser positioning interferometer is usually used to measure the positioning accuracy.

    Positioning accuracy is mainly affected by rail position error, mechanical clearance, screw / rack error, machine deformation and electrical following error. The error data measured by laser interferometer is input into CNC system, and the error compensation function of CNC system can achieve high positioning accuracy.
